Dude's got my hose!

I arrived home last night after working to a huge fire in the pit, cars all over my yard and a bunch of boys (and Jenny) standing around the fire. Ross and Corey come running over to my car and said "look mom we started the fire for you!". How can I turn down these kids who know I love to sit by the fire? I went inside and changed out of my scrubs and into some more appropriate attire for back yard fires.

It took me a bit to get ready (I had to check my myspace messages, lol). Talked to John and asked him to come over to offer some "adult entertainment" (not like that).

John came over and we were all sitting around laughing about Brian's new love (his sub in his trunk) and the oooh's and ahhhhs over the vibrations comming from it. My view for about a half hour was three boys butts with boxers hanging out the top sticking out of a trunk. Now that was funny and I missed the photo op unfortunately!

Brett got ready to leave. He had been parked in the yard so he had to back up and drive around the "parking lot" to get out. My hose was laying on the ground near by, he drove over it when he backed up. He put it in drive and began on his way. It didn't take very long for us to realize that he was dragging this 50' piece of hose behind his car!!! Josh and Corey went running after him yelling for him to stop. He was a good driver and stopped the end of the driveway to make his turn out. They caught him and removed my hose from his car before something tragic happened.

I think I might mention here that the hose was still hooked to the house and all I could say was "Dudes got my hose hooked to his car and laugh hysterically!!!

We also laughed and joked how if it hadn't been attached to the house we would have let him drive home and then call him and tell him what he did. This thought process was quickly doused by the thought that he could have gotten pulled over for trailing this hose behind him!

The conversation I imagined went something like this:

Brett: Hi pig. What'd I do this time? (lmao)

Cop: Son, do you realize your dragging your hose behind your car?

Brett: I didn't know that!

Cop: Well you are.

Brett: No shit?!

Cop: No Shit!

Brett: WOOOOW!

Cop: Son, have you been drinking tonight?

Brett: No. My friends and I were celebrating 4-20 at MAMA's house with a fire and I am just on my way home to bed.

Cop: Step out of the car please.
